Investigation of a vortex tube using three different RANS-based turbulence models

Summary: This study aims to investigate the temperature separation function inside a vortex tube through testing at different inlet pressures and utilizing computational fluid dynamics with various turbulence models. The results show that the standard k-epsilon model outperforms other models, and the internal flow behavior plays a crucial role in energy separation.
