Samarium vanadate nanospheres integrated carbon nanofiber composite as an efficient electrocatalyst for antituberculosis drug detection in real samples

Nandini Nataraj et al.

Summary: An electrochemical sensing platform based on samarium vanadate nanosphere embedded carbon nanofiber (SmVO4/CNF) was developed for the determination of the antituberculosis drug isoniazid (ISZ). The samples showed improved conductivity with lower resistance, facilitating enhanced detection of ISZ through cyclic voltammetry (CV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). The effective active surface area of SmVO4/CNF/GCE was found to be significantly larger, leading to a lower detection limit and a wider linear range for ISZ detection.
