Enhanced Secure Wireless Information and Power Transfer via Intelligent Reflecting Surface

By converting the optimization problem into a semidefinite relaxation (SDR) problem and proposing a low-complexity alternating optimization (LC-AO) algorithm, the proposed methods demonstrate significantly improved performance with reduced complexity.

Channel Estimation for RIS-Empowered Multi-User MISO Wireless Communications

Summary: Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RISs) are considered as an energy-efficient solution for future wireless networks due to their potential in enabling massive connectivity and low-latency communications. In this paper, a channel estimation framework based on parallel factor decomposition is proposed for the uplink of a RIS-empowered multi-user MISO communication systems. Two iterative estimation algorithms are presented and shown to outperform benchmark schemes in simulation results.
