Summary: A novel bifunctional magneto-gold nanohybrid was integrated into lateral flow immunoassay for simultaneous magnetic separation and colorimetric target sensing, achieving ultrasensitive detection of ochratoxin A in grape juice. The method demonstrated excellent selectivity and comparability to liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry, and is readily extendable to other small molecule detection in food samples.
