Static and dynamic energy structure analysis in the world for resource optimization using total factor productivity method based on slacks-based measure integrating data envelopment analysis

Summary: This study introduces a novel static and dynamic energy structure analysis method, which evaluates the energy structures of 24 countries by integrating data envelopment analysis. The results show that the energy efficiency of developed countries in the world is generally higher than that of developing countries, and through slack variable analysis, the energy efficiency of inefficient countries can be improved and carbon dioxide emissions can be reduced.
