Aspartame and cancer - new evidence for causation

Philip J. Landrigan et al.

Summary: The Ramazzini Institute conducted immunohistochemical and morphological reassessment on lymphoid tissue tumors from aspartame-exposed animals, confirming malignancy in 92.3% of cases. These findings validate aspartame as a chemical carcinogen in rodents and highlight the increased cancer risk in offspring with prenatal exposure, calling for urgent reevaluation of aspartame's health risks by public health agencies.
