A fuzzy-PID (FPID) controller is utilized to regulate system performance deviations using a fine tuning approach of differential evolution (DE) based on the integral squared error (ISE) function. The effect of CTDs on power system performance is demonstrated by comparing responses with and without consideration of CTDs in the system.
