Sensitive Electrochemical Determination of Trifluralin at a Disposable Pencil Graphite Electrode

Umit Gege et al.

Summary: A sensitive DP voltammetric method was developed for the determination of trifluralin at a disposable pencil graphite electrode, with good linear relationships between oxidation and reduction peak currents. The LOD and sensitivity values for both oxidation and reduction were determined, showing acceptable recovery values from real water samples.

Photocatalytically induced Au/mpg-C3N4 nanocomposites for robust electrochemical detection of Cr(VI) in tannery wastewater

Xing Chen et al.

Summary: Chromium undergoes redox speciation easily, with the Cr(VI) oxidation state being common and mobile in the environment. A new method using Au/mpg-C3N4 nanocomposites was developed for accurate detection of Cr(VI), with excellent sensitivity and detection limit. The nanocomposites consist of well-dispersed gold nanoparticles with an average diameter of 50 nm decorating the surface of mpg-C3N4.

Microfluidic Setup for Simultaneous Separation and Electrochemical Determination of Hg2+ and Ag+ Ions in Water

Sabrina Di Masi et al.

Summary: A setup comprising an injection valve, a hand-made chromatographic microcolumn, and an electrochemical detector was presented for the simultaneous separation of Hg2+ and Ag+ ions in water. The SPCE performance towards ions was initially studied in a FIA setup, followed by evaluation of ion separation efficiency. The reproducibility, stability, and regeneration of the microcolumns were also investigated and discussed.
