A new Quinoxaline-based compound o-QxDC-DTPA with D-A-D structure was introduced for deep-red organic light emitting diodes, showing distinctive DR emitting property with strong charge transfer character. High-efficiency devices were achieved with a maximum EQE of 5.21% and DR emission peak at 680 nm.
Deep-red (DR) emitting materials with narrow band gap have important applications in optoelectronic field. However, limited by energy gap rules, the development of DR emitting materials with high luminous efficiency face great challenges. Herein, we present a new Quinoxaline-based compound 6,7-bis(4-(diphenylamino)phenyl) quinoxaline-2,3-dicarbonitrile (o-QxDC-DTPA) with D-A-D structure for deep-red organic light emitting diodes. Such a material features distinctive DR emitting property with strong charge transfer character. Highly efficient devices were achieved based on o-QxDC-DTPA with different doped concentrations. The doped device exhibited excellent electroluminescence efficiency, with a maximum EQE of 5.21% and DR emission with the emission peak at 680 nm.
