Higher serum level of CTRP15 in patients with coronary artery disease is associated with disease severity, body mass index and insulin resistance

Abolfazl Shokoohi Nahrkhalaji et al.

Summary: This study found that levels of CTR P15 were higher in coronary artery disease (CAD) patients and were associated with insulin resistance, inflammation, and decreased adiponectin and HDL-C levels. This suggests a compensatory response to these pathological conditions in CAD patients.
