Thermal and mechanical properties of hardened cement paste reinforced with Posidonia-Oceanica natural fibers

Summary: Posidonia-Oceanica fibers can enhance the insulating properties of hardened cement paste, reduce thermal conductivity, increase tensile and compressive strengths, and improve fracture toughness. However, high fiber volume fractions may lead to fiber agglomeration and a decrease in mechanical properties.
