Summary: The study investigated the effects of acid treatment and silver loading on a Na2Ti3O7/TiO2 nanocomposite to improve its photoelectrochemical performance and photodegradation of Rhodamine B. The optimized NTOH0.1/Ag0.5 showed the highest photocatalytic efficiency and photodegradation of RhB, as well as a 2.7 times higher photocurrent density compared to untreated NTO. The acid treatment and silver loading increased both the donor concentration and the charge carrier transfer efficiency, resulting in significantly improved PEC performance.
