CO Oxidation Efficiency and Hysteresis Behavior over Mesoporous Pd/SiO2 Catalyst

Summary: Pd supported on SiO2 aerogel catalysts show good catalytic activity for CO oxidation due to their CO bond activation capability and thermal stability. The catalyst becomes active and conversion increases after reaching the ignition temperature (T-ig). A normal hysteresis in CO oxidation has been observed, with the catalyst exhibiting high catalytic activity even at temperatures lower than T-ig.
