Crystal structure, infrared spectra, and microwave dielectric properties of the EuNbO4 ceramic

Lintao Liu et al.

Summary: The novel microwave dielectric ceramic EuNbO4 with monoclinic structure was synthesized using the solid-state reaction process. X-ray diffraction and Rietveld refinement were employed to analyze phase compositions and crystal parameters. The optimal dielectric properties were achieved in EuNbO4 ceramic sintered at 1125 degrees C, with εr = 19.1, Q x f = 15,014 GHz, and τf = 16.42 ppm/degrees C.

Low-temperature sintering LiF-doped Li4Mg3[Ti0.6(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.4]2O9 microwave dielectric ceramics for LTCC applications

Bingjing Tao et al.

Summary: The addition of LiF sintering additive reduced the densification temperature of LMT0.6 (MN)(0.4)O ceramics and resulted in dense and homogeneous microstructures at 950°C. The LMT0.6 (MN)(0.4)O ceramics doped with 4wt% LiF exhibited optimized microwave dielectric properties, making it a suitable material for low temperature co-fired ceramics applications.

Crystal structure and optimised microwave dielectric properties of Ce2(Zr1-xTix)3(MoO4)9 solid solutions

Jinjie Zheng et al.

Summary: The Ce-2(Zr1-xTix)(3)(MoO4)(9) solid solutions were prepared via solid-state reaction method, with the desirable microwave dielectric properties achieved at x = 0.08 when sintered at 775 degrees C for 6 hours. X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns combined with Rietveld refinements results confirmed that all compounds crystallized in a trigonal cell (R-3c), providing insight into the structure and sintering behavior of the ceramics.

Design of a High-Efficiency and -Gain Antenna Using Novel Low-Loss, Temperature-Stable Li2Ti1-x (Cu1/3Nb2/3)xO3 Microwave Dielectric Ceramics

Huan-Huan Guo et al.

Summary: Microwave dielectric ceramics with excellent properties such as high quality factor, low sintering temperature, small density, and good temperature stability were achieved by incorporating (Cu1/3Nb2/3)(4+) substitution and 3 wt % H3BO3 addition in Li2TiO3. The resulting LTCN0.2 + 3 wt % H3BO3 materials showed promising applications for SG mobile communication devices and low-temperature co-fired ceramic technology. Additionally, they were chemically compatible with silver and exhibited high simulated radiation efficiencies and gains in patch antenna and dielectric resonator antenna designs.

A low-firing melilite ceramic Ba2CuGe2O7 and compositional modulation on microwave dielectric properties through Mg substitution

Changzhi Yin et al.

Summary: A melilite Ba2CuGe2O7 ceramic with low sintering temperature and moderate microwave dielectric properties was studied, and magnesium substitution for copper in Ba2CuGe2O7 affected the microwave dielectric properties significantly, leading to changes in relative permittivity, quality factor, and temperature coefficient of resonance frequency.

Lattice evolution, ordering transformation and microwave dielectric properties of rock-salt Li3+xMg2-2xNb1-xTi2xO6 solid-solution system: A newly developed pseudo ternary phase diagram

Xing Zhang et al.

Summary: By designing new multi-component Li3+xMg2-2xNb1-xTi2xO6 solid-solution ceramics based on the Li2TiO3-Li3NbO4-MgO pseudo ternary phase diagram, phase transitions were detected as the substitution amount increased. A coherent phase interface was formed in samples with low substitution concentration, along with various reconstructed superlattices observed.

Effects of (Mg1/3Sb2/3)4+ substitution on the structure and microwave dielectric properties of Ce2Zr3(MoO4)9 ceramics

Xu Zhou et al.

Summary: Ce-2[Zr1-x(Mg1/3Sb2/3)x](3)(MoO4)(9) ceramics were prepared by the traditional solid-state method, and a single phase was obtained at sintering temperatures ranging from 700 to 850 degrees C. The crystal structure refinement was investigated using Rietveld refinement method, and the dielectric properties of Ce-2[Zr-0.94(Mg1/3Sb2/3)(0.06)](3)(MoO4)(9) ceramics were found to be excellent. The correlations between chemical bond parameters and microwave dielectric properties were analyzed using P-V-L theory.
