The Clinical Value of Postoperative Transarterial Chemoembolization for Resectable Patients with Intermediate Hepatocellular Carcinoma After Radical Hepatectomy: a Propensity Score-Matching Study

Lei Wang et al.

Summary: The study found that postoperative transarterial chemoembolization (p-TACE) can significantly prolong disease-free survival in patients with intermediate hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Specifically, male patients with hepatitis, diabetes, cirrhosis, AFP <= 400 ng/ml, anatomic hepatectomy, among other factors, may benefit more from p-TACE treatment.
