Transmission Spectroscopy of Molecular Spin Ensembles in the Dispersive Regime

Summary: The dispersive regime readout technique was originally developed for non-demolitive measurement of qubits, and has now been successfully applied to probe spin excitations. It can reconstruct the spin system spectrum and measure the spin-lattice relaxation time, with the independent tunability of probe and drive power adjusting the signal-to-noise ratio for spectroscopy. This suggests that electron spin dispersive spectroscopy can complement electron spin resonance for investigating spin response.
