PdAg alloy nanoparticles encapsulated in N-doped microporous hollow carbon spheres for hydrogenation of CO2 to formate

Guoxiang Yang et al.

Summary: The optimized PdAg@NMHCS catalyst exhibits extraordinary activity for CO2 hydrogenation to formate, with high TOF values. Different carbonization temperatures affect the catalyst performance, and nitrogen-doped MHCS help reduce the activation energy for CO2 hydrogenation.

Boosting the electrocatalytic HER performance of Ni3N-V2O3 via the interface coupling effect

Peng Zhou et al.

Summary: The construction of a suitable coupling interface is essential for improving the performance of high-efficient electrocatalysts. In this study, a Ni3N-V2O3 composite was designed and synthesized, showing excellent electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) performance. The introduction of V2O3 led to a confinement effect and interface coupling effect, which greatly increased catalytic sites and improved performance.

Metal-free boron carbonitride with tunable boron Lewis acid sites for enhanced nitrogen electroreduction to ammonia

Bin Chang et al.

Summary: Research has shown that boron carbonitride (BCN) materials can easily tune Lewis acid catalysis sites by adjusting the relative contents of boron and nitrogen atoms, exhibiting excellent electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction reaction (NRR) performance. This study opens up a new avenue for exploring high-performance metal-free materials for nitrogen activation.
