Multienzyme-Mimic Ultrafine Alloyed Nanoparticles in Metal Organic Frameworks for Enhanced Chemodynamic Therapy

Peipei Yang et al.

Summary: Nanozyme-based chemodynamic therapy (CDT) has emerged as an effective cancer treatment with low side effects and without the requirement of exogenous energy. Constructing a single kind of catalyst with multiple functions for enhanced CDT is still a challenge, but this study successfully synthesized seven types of bimetallic nanoparticles using a metal-organic framework, showing promising activity.

Intrinsic catalase-mimicking MOFzyme for sensitive detection of hydrogen peroxide and ferric ions

Hani Nasser Abdelhamid et al.

Summary: Lanthanide metal-organic frameworks exhibit excellent properties, such as high thermal stability and promising enzyme-mimic activity. A new cerium MOFs synthesized via a solvothermal method showed good thermal stability and fluorescence emission signal at a wavelength of 550 nm. It demonstrated peroxidase MOFzyme activity and could detect hydrogen peroxide and ferric ions with good sensitivity and a wide linear range.
