Stretchable Electronics Based on PDMS Substrates

Dianpeng Qi et al.

Summary: Stretchable electronics rely on elastic substrates to bear and regulate strain distribution, with self-healing properties being crucial for device recovery. Poly(dimethylsiloxane) is commonly used due to its stable chemical properties, thermal stability, and the ability for surface modification and property tailoring to achieve designer functionalities. Challenges and future opportunities in stretchable electronics based on PDMS substrates are also discussed.
