Association of differentially expressed R-gene candidates with leaf spot resistance in peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.)

Summary: This study evaluated advanced breeding lines for leaf spot resistance and conducted expression analysis of 76 candidate R-genes, finding 36 differentially expressed R-genes significantly correlated with resistant lines. Majority of these R-genes are RLKs and RLPs sensing pathogen presence and initiating protection response.
