Search for π0 decays to invisible particles

Summary: The NA62 experiment at the CERN SPS conducted a study on pi (0) mesons from K+ -> pi (+)pi (0)(gamma), setting an upper limit on the branching ratio for the decay process. No signal of pi (0) decay to invisible particles was observed, improving previous results by a factor of 60. This result can also be interpreted as an independent upper limit on the branching ratio for the decay K+ -> pi X+, where X is a particle escaping detection with specific characteristics.

Resonant sub-GeV Dirac dark matter

Summary: This study investigates a sub-GeV Dirac dark matter candidate with resonantly enhanced annihilations via a dark photon mediator, which evades cosmological constraints on light thermal particles and is within reach of current and upcoming terrestrial experiments. A global analysis of the parameter space is conducted, showing the complementarity of different experimental strategies for further exploring this scenario, even with moderate resonant enhancements.
