LCTF-based multispectral fluorescence imaging: System development and potential for real-time foreign object detection in fresh-cut vegetable processing

Summary: The study developed an online inspection system using multispectral fluorescence and color imaging to detect potential foreign materials in fresh-cut vegetables. Results showed that the system could accurately detect most foreign materials, but not non-fluorescent tiny dark ones. The system performed similarly in an industrial environment and has the potential for commercial application.
