An experimental study on tribological properties and air tightness of co-textured cylinder liner-piston ring on an engine tester

Chenwei Miao et al.

Summary: Experimental study on textured cylinder liner-piston ring (CLPR) shows that surface texture can improve the tribological properties greatly. The co-texture combines the advantages of groove texture and dimple texture, resulting in the best tribological properties and air tightness among the three textures.
