Dispersion cancellation in a quantum interferometer with independent single photons

Summary: Group velocity dispersion affects quantum interference between independent single photons, but can be cancelled out by having the same amount of pulse broadening. This dispersion cancellation effect is applicable to multi-path linear interferometers and has wide applications in quantum communication, photonic quantum computing, and boson sampling.
