Bra-ket wormholes in gravitationally prepared states

Summary: This text discusses two-dimensional CFT states produced by gravitational path integrals, focusing on cases of Euclidean AdS(2) evolution and Lorentzian dS(2) evolution followed by flat space evolution. It is found that naive hyperbolic space geometry leads to paradoxes, which can be resolved by incorporating bra-ket wormholes. Despite issues with divergent temperatures, projection onto low energy states reveals similarities with the previous Euclidean case, suggesting a connection between maximum entropy and de Sitter entropy.

AdS3 gravity and random CFT

Summary: In this study, we computed the path integral of three-dimensional gravity on spaces with a torus times an interval topology, revealing spectral correlations between BTZ black hole microstates near threshold and the spectral form factor at fixed momentum. Our findings indicate that the low-energy limit of these correlations aligns precisely with a double-scaled random matrix ensemble with Virasoro symmetry.

Geometrizing TT

Summary: The TT deformation is formulated as a dynamical change of coordinates, generalized to curved spaces by coupling the undeformed theory to 2d gravity. The dynamical change of coordinates in curved space is supplemented by a dynamical Weyl transformation. The holographic correspondence to cutoff AdS(3) is sharpened by showing the action of the annular region can be given precisely by the TT operator integrated over either the cutoff surface or the asymptotic boundary, deriving dynamical coordinate and Weyl transformations directly from the bulk, and reproducing the flow equation for the deformed stress tensor from the cutoff geometry.
