Predictors of Lidcombe Program treatment dropout and outcome for early stuttering

Veronica Park et al.

Summary: The study found that better language skills and easy temperament in children are associated with better treatment outcomes in the Lidcombe Program, while parental impulsivity is related to treatment dropout. However, the variables identified as predictors of treatment outcomes were statistically significant but not clinically significant, and further research with prospective methods is needed to confirm these findings.
