Combining Accelerometry and GPS to Assess Neighborhood-Based Physical Activity: Associations With Perceived Neighborhood Walkability

N. E. H. Stappers et al.

Summary: The study found that individuals with lower levels of education or health problems tend to spend more time in their home neighborhood. Perceived neighborhood walkability only affects those who spend more time in their home neighborhood, while physical activity-promoting features in the home neighborhood are only associated with individuals without health problems or with higher levels of education.
