Agreement of bioelectrical resistance, reactance, and phase angle values from supine and standing bioimpedance analyzers

Jacob R. Dellinger et al.

Summary: This study aimed to examine the agreement of raw bioelectrical variables obtained from three bioimpedance analyzers. Significant differences were observed between the devices when analyzing the total sample and males, while better agreement was found when analyzing females. Resistance and phase angle were found to be equivalent between the supine devices (BIS, SFBIA), but not with the standing analyzer (MFBIA).
