Reference charts for body composition parameters by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry in European children and adolescents aged 6 to 18 years-Results from the AustrianLEAD(Lung,hEart, sociAl,boDy) cohort

Alina Ofenheimer et al.

Summary: This study provides reference charts for body composition parameters in European children and adolescents, with differences noted compared to the NHANES cohort. Variations in fat mass and lean mass parameters were observed between genders, and exponent analysis indicated the best fitting height biases were between 2.5 to 3.5.
