Effects of Ultraviolet Light Irradiation on Silk Fibroin Films Prepared under Different Conditions

Sora Lee et al.

Summary: UV irradiation on SF films induced the increase of yellowness and absorbance, forming new photo-products and di-tyrosine bonds. The crystallinity of SF films was reduced by UV, while covalent bonds remained unaffected.
