Unravelling the Behavior of Dion-Jacobson Layered Hybrid Perovskites in Humid Environments

Summary: While layered hybrid halide perovskites are generally believed to be more stable in humid conditions, this study reveals that the structure of Dion-Jacobson-type perovskites can be disrupted under such conditions. The original structure can be restored through annealing, and the hydration can be suppressed by generating a self-protective layer of PbI2.
