Dopamine and uric acid are essential compositions of the human body, and copper nanoparticle supported on reduced graphene oxide has been synthesized as an effective electrochemical sensor for them. The material was characterized by various techniques to confirm its efficacy.
Neurotransmitter Dopamine and purine-metabolism-derived Uric acid are quintessential compositions of the human body. The presence of these two substances to the proper extent is highly needed for a fit human being. In this paper we have synthesized Cu nanoparticle supported on reduced graphene oxide (CuNP@rGO) by simple, cost-effective method, characterized the material by different techniques like Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), UV-vis spectroscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and Raman spectroscopy. Cyclic voltammetry (CV) and Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) have been performed to confirm the effectivity of this material as an electrochemical sensor of Dopamine (DA) and Uric acid (UA).
