In this study, MXene Ti3C2Tx nanosheets were prepared using a diffusion method and utilized as a saturable absorber in a diode-pumped passively Q-switched Er:Lu2O3 laser. The laser achieved an average output power of 1.13 W with a pulse duration of 187.89 ns, repetition rate of 149.16 kHz, and pulse energy of 7.6 μJ under a pump power of 8.41 W.
In this paper, we successfully prepared MXene Ti3C2Tx nanosheets via diffusing method and subsequently investigated its nonlinear absorption properties. A diode-pumped passively Q-switched Er:Lu2O3 laser at 2.85-mu m was realized applying the MXene Ti3C2Tx as a saturable absorber (SA). Up to 1.13-W average output power was achieved under the pump power of 8.41 W. The pulse duration of the pulsed laser was 187.89 ns with repetition rate of 149.16 kHz and the pulse energy of 7.6 mu J.
