Transmittive-type triple-band linear to circular polarization conversion in THz region using graphene-based metasurface

Summary: This paper presents a detailed study on a graphene-based transmittive-type triple-band linear to circular polarization converter in the lower mid infrared (MIR) region, covering the terahertz gap. The proposed device has low axial ratios (AR) under 3 dB at three distinct frequencies, making it suitable for various applications such as electromagnetic measurement, THz detection, THz sensing, THz imaging, THz antenna, and stealth technology. The prototype is designed to be ultra-thin and compact in nature, with a sub-wavelength thickness and periodicity with respect to the lowest frequency band.
