A study showed that while 71% of healthcare workers tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 within 2 weeks after receiving the vaccine, the percentage decreased after the second dose.
SARS-CoV-2 Vaccine and Infection in Health Workers After more than 36,500 health care workers at the University of California received at least one dose of vaccine, 71% of 379 workers with positive SARS-CoV-2 tests had positive results within 2 weeks after the first dose. Of 37 workers with positive results after the second dose, 7 had positive results 15 or more days after the dose.
