Green Approach to Overcome the Resistance Pattern of Candida spp. Using Biosynthesized Silver Nanoparticles Fabricated by Penicillium chrysogenum F9

Summary: In this study, a green approach was developed to control pathogenic Candida spp. isolated from clinical samples, successfully synthesizing silver nanoparticles (Ag-NPs) that showed high susceptibility to Candida isolates. The study also revealed the resistance of Candida species to fluconazole and amphotericin B, while showing the potential of green-synthesized Ag-NPs as an anti-candida agent.
