Alkaline fuel cells consisting of imidazolium-based graft-type anion exchange membranes: Optimization of fuel cell conditions to achieve high performance and durability

Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed Mahmoud et al.

Summary: Water management in alkaline fuel cells was studied through dew point optimization using a series of imidazolium-based graft-type AEMs. It was found that AEMs with StIm units showed the highest power density and long-term durability in fuel cell tests at 60 degrees C. The chemical characterization and molecular calculations were in good agreement with the experimental results, providing valuable insights for future research.

Simultaneous separation and quantification of acidic and basic dye specimens via a dual gel electro-membrane extraction from real environmental samples

Samira Mohammad Rezaei et al.

Summary: An environmentally friendly and easy-to-use dual gel electro-membrane extraction method was developed for parallel determination of basic and acidic dyes, showing high selectivity and no need for hazardous organic solvents. The method demonstrated high extraction efficiencies, low detection limits, and successful application in complex environmental samples.
