Green Strategies to Printed Sensors for Healthcare Applications

The transition to 'green' strategies is underway to address these potential risks and focus on eco-friendly materials and printing methods for sensor components.

Summary: This study demonstrates the development of a processable and nanofibrous polyaniline:polystyrene-sulphonate (nano-PANI:PSS) as a functional ink for fabricating catalyst-free NH4+ sensors and enzyme-coupled urea biosensors. The nano-PANI:PSS shows excellent detection performance and could potentially advance CP-based transducer materials in the field of printed organic sensors and biosensors.
