The algorithm proposed is capable of generating non-diffractive and self-accelerating solutions, with local properties of the initial conditions being related to the shape of the solution's amplitude profile.
We propose an algorithm for constructing initial conditions for the wave equation in the paraxial approximation that generate non-diffractive and self-accelerating solutions in terms of their amplitude profiles. We make use of local properties of the initial conditions that are related to the shape of the solution's amplitude profile.
