Summary: This study presents an effective and easy strategy to construct a multifunctional nanoplatform combining bone targeted therapy and imaging diagnostics for osteosarcoma. The nanoplatform exhibited excellent tumor microenvironment responsive drug release efficiency and demonstrated outstanding combined therapy for killing cancer cells in vitro and suppressing tumor growth in vivo. CT and MR dual-modality imaging verified the effective accumulation of the nanoplatform at the tumor site, suggesting potential applications for efficient osteosarcoma therapy.
