Reduction of breathing artifacts in multifrequency magnetic resonance elastography of the abdomen

Mehrgan Shahryari et al.

Summary: This study analyzed the effect of different breathing strategies on multifrequency magnetic resonance elastography of abdominal organs. The results showed that free-breathing MRE resulted in larger organ displacements but did not affect shear wave speed, and image registration improved the quality of examinations.
