Summary: Boron and nitrogen co-doped larger-diameter graphitic nanotubes with decorated nickel nanocrystals were developed as flame retardant for epoxy resin via pyrolysis method. The nanostructure allowed for enhanced interaction with the polymer matrix, improving the fire performance of the nanocomposites.
