Recent advances in histone glycation: emerging role in diabetes and cancer

Summary: Recent research has highlighted the importance of glycation as a major nonenzymatic modification of histone proteins, impacting epigenetic landscape, cellular fate, and human diseases such as diabetes and cancer.
