Calibration of the process-based model 3-PG for major central European tree species

David I. Forrester et al.

Summary: The study estimated 3-PG parameters for twelve major central European tree species, showing that these parameters can reliably predict forest biomass and tree sizes, especially in mixed-species forests. The parameter sets are likely to be appropriate for most central European forests and conditions due to the wide range of information sources used to develop them.
