Investigation of potential human health risks from fluoride and nitrate via water consumption in Sabzevar, Iran

Summary: This research aimed to assess the risk to human health caused by fluoride and nitrate in the groundwater in Sabzevar city, Iran. The study found that some wells had concentrations of fluoride and nitrate exceeding safe levels, which could be detrimental to the health of adults, children, and infants. The findings of this research can contribute to the development of effective water resource management strategies.
