In-use emissions from biomass and LPG stoves measured during a large, multi-year cookstove intervention study in rural India

Summary: A multiyear cookstove intervention trial in rural India included an emission measurement campaign, which found that LPG stoves had the lowest pollutant emissions, but their in-home emissions were significantly higher than lab emissions. The study highlighted the importance of in-home emission measurements for assessing the actual exposure benefits of LPG stoves in real-world interventions.
