This paper investigates the effects of four guanidinium di an de-based ene c salts as energetic additives to a hypergolic ionic fluid. The salts were found to significantly improve the density and specific impulse of the fluid.
In this paper, four kinds of guanidinium di an de-based ene c salts were prepared and investigated as energetic additives to hypergo c ionic uid 1-ethyl-3-methyl imidazolium dicyanamide ([EMIM][DCA]) for the first time. Their densities, viscosi heat of formation, specific impulse, ignition delay time, melting point, charge di on, decomposi temperature were tested and calculated. The results showed that these salt ossessed high nitrogen content (> 66 wt%), high density and high specific impulse. Their addition bring significant improvement on density and specific impulse of [EMIM][DCA] and hardly affect its nition delay e. ? 2020 Th ombustion stitute. Published by Elsevier Inc.
