Rate constants for the reactions of F atoms with H2 and D2 over the temperature range 220-960 K

Yuri Bedjanian

Summary: The kinetics of the reactions between F atoms and hydrogen/deuterium were studied in this experiment. The rate constants for the reactions were determined using different methods and the kinetic isotope effect was found to be in excellent agreement with the ratios of the rate constants calculated with Arrhenius expressions. The experimental data were compared with previous measurements and theoretical calculations to provide further insights.
