Summary: Fe-Mt prepared with CA showed higher iron content and specific surface area compared to Na-Mt, leading to enhanced ROSs generation and improved degradation of DEP under xenon lamp irradiation. The Fe-Mt catalyst demonstrated good stability and promising potential for removing organic pollutants in water or soil under solar irradiation.
