Summary: A new polyenzyme label based on DI, constructed using an avidin analog, shows higher signal amplification and lower nonspecific binding compared to a single enzyme label. The detection limit for the detection of IL-8 in saliva using the polyenzyme label is one order of magnitude lower than that using a single enzyme label.
